Boots with rubber soles would do good. Better yet, you might want to add suction cups to avoid slipping

I wear snow boots with treads, suction cups on the bottoms of them to prevent me from slipping on the ice in the winter.

use ice grip studs or cleats to prevent you from slip slidin' away,like the Paul Simon song goes.

Rubber gripped soles are the best.
