"Are you sure there is nothing I can help with?" asked Sky Glider, helping the older orange pony with her laundry. Misjudging her hoof, she accidentally knocked the basket out of her hoof!
"Oh my, girl!" The grandmother pony sighed, shaking her head. "You are so clumsy today."
"Sorry," Sky Glider told her sadly. "I just am having a bit of trouble. The kids are driving me crazy!"
"I know the grandchildren are a bit rambunctious today," Grandmother told her chidingly, "but they shall be kids!"
Sky Glider nodded and tried to pick up the laundry, but only succeeded in knocking it everywhere. T rolled her eyes and laughed. "Perhaps you should get me some more water, girl. Go down to the stream and bring me a bucket. And do not dally!"
Sky picked the bucket up halfheartedly and flew away just as the group of crazed youngsters ran out to the back.
"We're having fun, grandmother!" called Baby Whiskers over the din. Their grandmother pulled the children apart and sighed. "Perhaps I should keep you busy with a story, no? That way you shall get out of your grandmother's mane?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" cried the grandchildren. Grandmother laughed and sat them down. She told them the story of how she met their grandfather.

Sky Glider knew she wasn't supposed to dally, but she couldn't listen. She was too bored. Humming, she sat down on the path and began to count the stones. When she was done dawdling, she got up to continue on her way.
But she couldn't.
With horror, she realized that her feet were stuck in the path! The ground had formed around them and was holding her in place. She struggled to get free, but couldn't.
"Help! HELP!" she called, hoping someone would hear her...
